2022 Alexandra Junior Tournament (4th HEAD Series)

The Alexandra Juniors in conjunction with the 4th tournament in the 2022 HEAD Series was played on Sunday, hosted by the Alexandra Squash Club.     Travellers braved the winter conditions to get to the courts early with  matches starting at 8.30 am with all players getting 3 matches finishing at around 4.30 pm.  A big 'thank you' to Tony van Kempen and the Alexandra Club for a smoothly run tournament, no injuries & no withdrawals after draws were completed with lots of fun and a good time had by all.
Grade winners & runners up were:
'A' - 1st:  Harley Turnbull (Alexandra);  2nd:  Oisin Corbett   (Wanaka) 
'B' - 1st:  Rui Fukaya (Wanaka);  2nd:  Ethan Prince (Wanaka)
'C' -  1st:  Georgia Spillane (Cromwell);  2nd:  Jaxon Innes (Taieri)
'D' -  1st:  Thomas Jurczyluk (Wanaka); 2nd: Meila Sprigs (Cromnwell)  
HEAD prize went to joint winners - Torben & Thomas Barlev (Pirates)
Special sportsperson prize went to Hunter Compton (Taieri)
