The Alexandra Junior Open (1st of the HEAD Junior Series) was held in Alexandra over the weekend. Although the tournament was small in numbers, there were some very competitive matches, no more so than the 'A' Grade Final with Caleb Madden (Cromwell) finishing his junior career with a 3 - 2 win over Matt Butcher from Taieri. Trent Ainsley (Cromwell) took out the 'B' Grade in 4 from Zavier Robb (Alexandra) and George Sargood-Ross (Wanaka) winning a very closely contested 3 - 2 win over Grace Brenssell from Cromwell. The next series tournament will be a one-day Sunday tournament held at the Otago Squash Club on Sunday, 5th May. (Click on poster below for details).
