2019 SI Junior Age Group Team's Event

Canterbury defended their 2018 title by decisively winning the overall title in the 2019 South Island Junior Age group Teams Event held in Ashburton at the weekend. Southland came in second, Midlands third and Otago fourth.
Canterbury dominated most age-groups with Otago picking up medals in the Under 11 & 13 girls and Under 11 boys.

2019 Otago District Junior Champions

The Otago District Junior Open was hosted by Squash Taieri at the weekend in conjunction with the fourth and final tournament of the HEAD Junior Series. Results went with seedings with top seed Daniel Hewson (Otago) taking out the title in four games from second seed Matt Butcher (Taieri). In the girl's final, top seed Martha Toghill (Wanaka) defended her 2018 title with a win over Janaya Anderton (Taieri).
