 The 2024 South Island Secondary Schools Championships was held at the Otago Squash Club last weekend with 23 teams from the South Island participating. The bulk of the teams were from the Canterbury squash district representing their respective schools with four teams travelling as far away as Marlborough. Well done to all schools who took part making for a successful weekend of secondary schools squash. Final results were: Boy's A: Gold - Marlborough Boy's College (A); Silver - Christchurch Boy's HS (1); Bronze - St Bedes College (A) Boy's B: Gold - Marlborough Boy's College (B); Silver - Cashmere HS (1); Bronze - St Andrew's College Boy's C: Gold - Christchurch Boy's HS (3); Silver - Christchurch Boy's HS (4); Bronze - Mt Aspiring College (B) Boy's D: Gold - Cashmere HS (2); Silver - Bayfield HS; Bronze - Christchurch Boy's HS (5) Girls: Gold - Villa Maria College; Silver - Southland Girl's HS; Bronze - Cashmere HS
