The Otago Sports Depot Junior Series #3 was held on Sunday at the Otago Squash Club.  The tournament was light in numbers which made for a few mis-matches but in saying that there were 7 five-setters with an encouraging standard of squash played. A number of kids were playing their first tournament with the youngest 7 year old Cooper Tasker (Pirates) taking out  his  3rd match (much to the delight of Dad (Jaron) over another first-timer Jack McKee (Pirates) in a close five-setter.  The three Crossan children from Cromwell had a very  successful weekend, enjoying the All Black's win on Saturday night and then Jack taking out the Boy 'A' ; George runner up in the Boy's B & Isabella runner up in the Mixed A.   Overall the tournament was short & sharp giving the kids a fun time,  three matches of competitive squash as well as hopefully learning some skills & gaining experience before their next outing. 
The 2025 Otago District Junior Champs  (4th & final of the OSD Series)  will be hosted by the Cromwell Club on 23rd & 24th August.

Boy's B:  Jack Cuddie (Taieri) 1st;  George Crossan (Cromwell) 2nd; Timothy Birchall (Pirates) 3rd & Aiden Wells (Taieri) 4th
Boy's C:  Max Lindsay (Clutha) 1st;  Logan Cumming (Otago) 2nd;  Myroslav Oborozhiy (Otago) 3rd;  Joshua Woods (Otago) 4th; Aiden Lyall (Clutha) 5th & Alex Burgess (Otago) 6th
Mixed A:  Ben Walker (Pirates) 1st;  Isabella Crossan (Cromwell) 2nd;  Cooper Tasker (Pirates) 3rd & Jack  McKee (Pirates) 4th
