2018 Otago District Master's Champs

The 2018 Otago District Master's Tournament was held at the weekend hosted by the Sunnyvale Club.  The Otago District  Master's Champions for the 2018 year are:  Leon Beaman of the Otago Club and Fran Hopkins from Waikato.  A big 'thank you' to the Sunnyvale Club especially tournament controllers Nellie Hopkins and Sarah Taylor who joined in the spirit of 'Master's' squash. 
Final results were:
'A' Men:   Leon Beaman (Otago) 3 versus Lee Butcher (Taieri) 0 
'A' Women:  Fran Hopkins (Waikato) 3 versus Rangi Clark (Otago) 1
'B' Men:  Ken Brown (Pirates) 3 versus Jeff Williams (Pirates) 0
'C' Men: Rodney Jordan (Taieri) 3 versus Darren Bain (Taieri) 2
'D' Men:  Andre Southgate (Auckland)  3 versus Bill Currie (Pirates) 0
'A' Mixed: Raymond Dorsey (Sunnyvale) 3 versus Jono Bull (Otago) 0
'B' Mixed: Tim Woods  (Sunnyvale) 1st;  Rhonda More (Sunnyvale) 2nd
'C' Mixed:  Robert Butcher (Otago) 1st;  Kelly Lindsay (Otago) 2nd
