The South Island Quadrangular is a tournament that is annually contested between Canterbury, Midlands, Otago and Southland. The teams are made up of 3 x juniors (both genders); 3 x seniors (both genders) & 2 x masters (both genders). The hosting of the event alternates between the Otago & Midlands District with Timaru Squash Club due to host the 2020 event over the weekend of 13th - 14th June. Unfortunately, as has been the case for a number of National, District & Club events and with a lot of factors having been considered, the 2020 South Island Quadrangular Team's Event has been officially cancelled. Hopefully, the Government’s intention of announcing this week what Level Two will mean to sports will eventuate and it will not be too far off before squash clubs can open their doors to their members.
