2021 NZ Junior Nationals & Champion of Champions Cancelled

Squash New Zealand and the Districts have made the decision based on the recent Government update that Junior Nationals will be cancelled for 2021.  We need to provide certainty to those attending the event and therefore the decision needed to be based on the information that we have at present, and under the current guidelines we would be unable to run the Junior Nationals.  Unfortunately the right call is not to have a postponement date to ensure we are following  the Sport NZ season transition guidelines and Balance is Better philosophy.
We wish to congratulate all of the Juniors that made their District representative team for 2021and wish our juniors the best when it comes to safely returning to play.
The decision has also been made to cancel the Champion of Champions.  Although this is a smaller event, after consultation with our districts it was decided that we were not going to be able to have high enough attendance to warrant the event going ahead as well as the travel factor in getting to Whangarei.
