2021 NZ Masters Nationals Cancelled

Unfortunately and once again disappointing, the 2021 NZ Masters (individuals & teams) has been cancelled.  The statement below has been circulated by Squash New Zealand.....

'Squash New Zealand, Host Clubs and Districts have made the decision that New Zealand Masters Individuals and Teams will be cancelled for 2021.  The host clubs worked hard on getting the event to go ahead in October.  However, due to the Sport NZ guidelines that have recently been released, this was no longer a viable option.  The new guidelines state that all facilities must adhere to the gatherings of 50  and this must be a single group - different people cannot come and go under these group limits.  They also state that now is not the time to have a large event.  Keep things simple.  We did look into postponement options for the individuals which unfortunately hasn't been able to line up this year.'
