 The 2021 Otago District Open in conjunction with the Otago Championships was held last weekend at the Otago Squash Club. 102 players battled it out in their various grades with some very competitive squash being on display. Top seeds Henry Aitken (Otago University) took out the men's title from 2nd seed Regan McNaught (Southland) in four games while Alana Kairaoi (nee Sincock) top seed and from Roxburgh playing out of the Alexandra Club was too strong for Deb Shirley (3rd seed) from Southland after Deb overcame last year's winner Lowrie Waugh (Otago University) in three.
