2022 Otago District Junior Open

)The Otago District Junior Champions for the 2022 year are pictured opposite -        Aria Bannister (Otago) & Ashton Hansen (Otago/Gore).   The  Otago Champs were held at the weekend hosted by the Pirates Squash Club  in conjunction with the final tournament in the  2022 Otago Sports Depot  HEAD Junior Series.  There was a  good turn out of juniors  from Wanaka, Cromwell, Taieri, Pirates & Otago with the standard greatly improved from the first junior  tournament played back in March. 
Grade winners were:
​Boys Open​:  Winner:  Ashton Hansen (Otago/Gore); 2nd: Vinnie Gable (Otago)
Girl's Open:  Winner:  Aria Bannister (Otago); 2nd: Grace Brenssell (Cromwell)
Mixed 3:  Winner:   Levi Casey (Cromwell);  2nd: Kyan Prince (Wanaka)
Mixed 4:  Winner:   Liam Brady (Taieri); 2nd: Max Cross (Taieri)
Mixed 5:  Winner: Hayden Webb (Taieri); 2nd Finlay Rowe  (Pirates);   Mixed 6:  Winner:  Jaxon Innes (Taieri); 2nd:  Sam Pool (Taieri)
Mixed 7:  Winner:  Thomas Jurczyluk (Wanaka);  2nd: Nathan Andrew (Cromwell)
