2022 Otago School's Tournament - results

The 2022 Otago School's Tournament was held on Friday with record team entries from Central Otago & Dunedin area schools. The following schools were represented. Mt Aspiring College - Wanaka (2 teams); Cromwell College (4); Taieri College (2); Otago Boy's High School (2); Bayfield High School (1) & Columba College (1). To cater for schools that could not field a team, an individual tournament was held along side the teams event. This included players from Logan Park High School & Kavanagh College complimented by team players making for a long day with 76 matches being played between the hours of 9.00 am & 5.00 pm. There were a lot of tired juniors, teachers & parents by the end of the day with many having an extra few hours travel added to their day before getting home. A review of the structure of the event is planned so as to accommodate the growing interest & increasing number of schools entering. Unfortunately with the late finishing time, the usual prize-giving had to cancelled.

Boy's: Otago Boy's (A) - Ben Turnbull, Jack Buttar, Jamie Beaman & Josh Allison
Girls:  Cromwell College (A) - Grace Brenssell, Georgia Spillane, Delta Brenssell

Mixed A: Ashton Hansen (OBHS)
Mixed B: Melanie Button (Columba College)
Girl's A: Oil Pathchotinont (Columba College)
