Although going into the final round with only one point the difference, Otago University proved too strong for Taieri winning 8 matches to 2. Third place-getter was Otago over Pirates (4th) with Sunnyvale (5th). Otago University will play Central Otago’s Top Club – Wanaka for the Cableway’s Shield later in the season.
